COURSE FOR SAFE HANDLING OF FIREARMS – MAY 2021

Between May 12 and May 12. – 14.05.2021 FLINT will conduct a course for safe handling of a firearm. The course includes theorical and practical preparation. The theoretical part includes lectures aimed at acquainting the learner with the legal norms, his rights and obligations in handling and carrying a firearm. Lectures on first aid to persons who have suffered injuries from a firearm. A qualified instructor will acquaint learners with the classification of firearms, safety rules for handling firearms and ammunition, rules for the maintenance and storage of weapons, types of ammunition for firearms, general information from internal ballistics, basic elements of the shooting technique and more common firearms in bulgaria.

The practical part includes individual work with a shooting instructor. Shooting with the main classes of firearm in the most popular caliber, the purpose of which is to teach the learner, correctly and safely to handle a firearm.

After passing the theoretical and practical part, an examination shall be passed before the COS service. The exam consists of two parts, a test on the theoretical part and a gun shooting 25 meters for the practical. Only those who pass the test are allowed until the shooting.

Only persons who have passed the theorical and practical part are allowed to pass the exam.

The price of the Course is 190.00 LEVA without VAT.

The course is mandatory for persons who will apply for a permit to carry and use a firearm for business purposes and self-defense.
